Two employees of Greyhound have been recognized by the Pennsylvania Bus Association with top honors for excellence in leadership and safety.
Amantuallah Lucas, an area driver manager based in New York City, received the association’s Employee of Distinction Award on March 30 at PBA’s Annual Marketplace Networking Event in Williamsport, Pennsylvania.
Lucas began her career with Greyhound as a driver and advanced into management, where she now oversees operations in the Northeast region. Under her leadership, the region has become the company’s most successful, reflecting improvements in performance, safety and team culture.
“Amantuallah represents the very best of Greyhound’s culture of opportunity and accountability,” said Rodney Surber, the company’s chief operations officer. “Her journey from the driver’s seat to leading one of our highest-performing regions is a testament to her leadership and commitment to excellence.”

Also honored was Constance “Connie” Davidson, a Greyhound driver in the Northeast, who received the Driver of Distinction Award for 27 years of accident-free driving.
The award recognizes motorcoach operators who demonstrate exceptional safety, professionalism and customer service. Davidson’s record highlights the role of experienced drivers in safely transporting millions of passengers each year.
“Constance’s 27-year accident-free record reflects extraordinary discipline and professionalism,” Surber said. “Our drivers are the backbone of our operations, and recognitions like this reinforce the safety-first culture that defines Greyhound today.”
The annual awards program, sponsored by the Pennsylvania Bus Association, honors drivers and employees across the motorcoach industry who demonstrate outstanding service and dedication. The awards are held twice per year, at the Marketplace in March and at the Annual Conference in June.
