
The Department of Homeland Security is temporarily shutting down TSA PreCheck and Global Entry starting Sunday at 6 a.m. ET due to the partial government shutdown, according to a report from The Washington Post.
“Shutdowns have serious real world consequences,” Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem said in a statement, according to the AP. “TSA and CBP are prioritizing the general traveling population at our airports and ports of entry and suspending courtesy and special privilege escorts.”
